Hospital Law
Warner’s Health Law Group provides legal counsel to 15 Michigan hospitals, advising them in all areas of corporate planning and regulatory compliance.
Our attorneys are especially well versed in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues. We offer comprehensive help with all aspects of corporate compliance, including compliance plan design and implementation.
Warner also offers expert representation for hospitals facing criminal or civil investigations, including negotiations or litigation with Medicare and Medicaid agencies, and assists in favorably resolving survey issues.
The Health Law Group experts provide experienced representation in health care transactions, including bonds and multi-party joint ventures. Our attorneys have extensive knowledge of federal and state statutes that govern health care transactions, including tax-exempt rules, Stark II, anti-kickback laws and certificate of need procedures. We have closed numerous nursing home transactions and have extensive experience representing nursing home owners in connection with both the purchase and sale of nursing homes.
Physician Law
Warner serves as legal counsel to hundreds of physicians and physician practices in Michigan and throughout the country, providing advice in practice management issues, concierge medicine, Stark II, HIPAA and patient confidentiality and other regulatory concerns.
