Ashley G. Chrysler, a partner with the law firm Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been honored by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as one of its “Up and Coming Lawyers” for 2024.
Chrysler is recognized in the annual edition that acknowledges the best of Michigan’s up-and-coming attorneys. In selecting attorneys for this honor, Michigan Lawyers Weekly looks for lawyers in their first 10 or fewer years of practice who have excelled in the profession and stand out among their peers. Along with 24 others, Chrysler will be honored during an awards luncheon April 26 in Troy.
Her nomination read in part: “Ashley’s passion for advocating for her clients’ interests is evident in her approach to legal practice. She actively collaborates with clients to develop and implement successful and cost-effective legal strategies, making the (environmental) permitting and litigation processes less arduous. Her dedication to understanding clients’ goals, needs and practical business realities sets her apart.”
Chrysler focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, environmental matters and appeals and chairs Warner’s Environmental Litigation Practice Group. Her experience includes representing mining and renewable resource companies with a variety of commercial, zoning and environmental issues. She was named to the Michigan Super Lawyers Magazine Rising Stars List in 2022, the Best Lawyers® Grand Rapids Commercial Litigation “Ones to Watch List” 2021-2023 and as a Top Lawyer by Grand Rapids Magazine.
Active professionally and in the community, Chrysler is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Association. She serves on the board of Equine Assisted Development and is a member of the 2024 class of Leadership Grand Rapids.
Chrysler holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and criminal justice summa cum laude from Saginaw Valley State University and a law degree summa cum laude from the Michigan State University College of Law.
