Warner settled nearly $300 million in claims as Michigan counsel for UBS AG and Merrill Lynch Capital Services in the historic bankruptcy proceeding for the city of Detroit. 

We served as debtor’s counsel for Michigan Sporting Goods Distributors, Inc. (MC Sports), a $170 million national retail sporting goods chain.

Warner led a distressed supplier through a successful restructuring event and the subsequent sale of the business, with our work earning a Deal of the Year Award.

Warner served as co-counsel for the debtor, BarFly Ventures, LLC (HopCat), in a large Chapter 11 case.

We represented Four Lakes Task Force in the bankruptcy proceedings of Boyce Hydro, owners of Midland dams which were breached in 2020.

Warner attorneys successfully represented a Tier-1 automotive supplier in a multi-million dollar claim in bankruptcy court. 

Warner’s quick action, collaboration and a focus on creative problem-solving was key in saving a helicopter manufacturer that had filed for bankruptcy and preserving its 70-plus jobs.
