Warner attorneys Ed Bardelli and Amanda Fielder presented a webinar addressing employment litigation after the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses have faced myriad practical and legal employment challenges as they implement measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 while minimizing the economic impact. Consequently, over the last few months, employers have been forced to terminate and furlough workers at an alarmingly fast pace. As facilities reopen, employers will make difficult decisions on which employees to bring back to work and how to safely operate the workplace. These decisions will be scrutinized. Going forward, employers will face a rise in employment litigation related to workplace safety, discrimination and wage and hour issues.
