Warner Partner Madelaine C. Lane Named to Michigan Lawyers Weekly ‘Influential Women of Law’ Class of 2024

Madelaine C. Lane, a partner with Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been selected to the Michigan Lawyers Weekly “Influential Women of Law” Class of 2024.

The recognition honors women attorneys and judges for their excellent work on behalf of the justice system and for their clients, their commitment to their communities and their service to the profession. Michigan Lawyers Weekly will present the awards during a Sept. 27 luncheon at Petruzzello’s Banquet and Conference Center in Troy.

Lane’s nomination read in part: “Madelaine Lane’s career is distinguished by her expertise, inspiring leadership, dedication to improving the legal system and substantial contributions to volunteerism and pro bono work. She highly accomplished white-collar criminal defense attorney and co-leads the firm’s eDiscovery Center. She provides essential guidance to clients facing complex civil investigations, high-risk publicity and in need of criminal defense counsel.

“Madelaine's ability to navigate intricate legal challenges and her success in both state and federal courtrooms highlight her unwavering commitment to legal excellence. An accomplished litigator, Lane concentrates her practice on white collar criminal defense, focusing on litigation strategy, management of high-volume eDiscovery, complex civil investigations, whistleblower claims and more for clients in higher education, automotive, health care, finance and agriculture, among others. She is recognized as one of the go-to attorneys in Michigan skilled in creating programs focused on sexual abuse prevention and detection training.

Active in the firm, professionally and in the community, Lane serves as Warner’s deputy general counsel and co-chair of its eDiscovery Center. She has also served on the firm’s Management Committee, which guides Warner’s day-to-day operations.

Lane is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Association. In the community, Lane serves on the boards of the Dominican Sisters of Grand Rapids Foundation and Sacred Beginnings Transitional Program.
