Michigan Lawyers Weekly has honored Katherine L. Pullen, a partner with the law firm Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, as one of its “Up & Coming Lawyers” for 2019.
Pullen is recognized in the annual edition that acknowledges the best of Michigan’s up-and-coming attorneys. To be selected for the honor, Michigan Lawyers Weekly looks for lawyers who, in their first 10 or fewer years of practice, are setting the standard for other attorneys. Along with 29 others, Pullen will be honored at a luncheon celebration on Dec. 5 at the Detroit Marriott Troy.
Her nomination read, in part: "Katie has proven herself a strong advocate for her clients and provides specialty services that span across multiple industries. Katie’s natural persuasion abilities and zealous advocacy contribute to her success as an attorney. She skillfully crafts arguments designed to solve even the most complex matters and assists clients with all their litigation needs in both state and federal courts."
Pullen provides litigation services that span across multiple industries including automotive, commercial and healthcare. She has been named a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2016.
Active professionally and in the community, Pullen is a member of the Federal Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Oakland County Bar Association. She has been actively involved in the Original Equipment Supplier Association serving as legal counsel for two councils. Pullen is a member of Inforum and a graduate of its Executive Leadership Program and is a graduate of Leadership Oakland. She also volunteers with Alternatives for Girls.
Pullen is a native of Midland and resides in Franklin with her husband, Jeff, and two sons, Jackson and Joshua. She holds a bachelor of science from Michigan State University and law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
