Warner Partner Jonathan E. Lauderbach Joins Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation Board

Jonathan E. Lauderbach, executive partner of the Midland office of Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been elected to the board for the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation.

For a half-century, the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation has fostered increased awareness of the life, career, values and legacy of America’s 38th president. It does so through activities designed to promote the high ideals of integrity, honesty and candor that defined former President Ford’s extraordinary career of public service.

The Foundation also promotes the ideals, values, commitment to public service and historical legacy of President Ford and further promotes greater civic engagement and recognition of integrity wherever it exists in the public arena. It supports permanent and changing exhibits designed to promote historical literacy, conferences, educational outreach and other programs, both scholarly and popular, including at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library in Ann Arbor and Gerald R. Ford Museum in Grand Rapids.

Previously a circuit judge for Midland County, Lauderbach joined Warner with the opening of its Midland office in 2013. A commercial litigator, he provides trusted counsel to public and private companies in matters involving corporate governance, commercial relationships and the disputes that arise from those relationships.

He has been named to Michigan Super Lawyers and Leaders in the Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.

Lauderbach is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and a Fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation. He has served as a member and chair of the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board by appointment of the Michigan Supreme Court. He also serves as a trustee of the Eagle Village Foundation, Delta College Foundation and Midland Public Schools Board of Education. He is a past chair of the boards for Eagle Village Inc., Big Brothers Big Sisters of Midland County and Midland Area Chamber of Commerce.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Albion College, which is home to the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service, and a law degree from University of Detroit Mercy.
