Warner Norcross + Judd LLP partner Charlie Goode has been named to the Michigan Go To Lawyers Power List by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.
Now in its second year, the Go To Lawyers Power List recognizes the top attorneys from its previous quarterly lists. Goode is one of 24 attorneys who will be recognized in a special section of the publication on Dec. 18 for his work on business transactions.
Goode concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and regulation, corporate governance, social impact investing and general corporate and banking matters. He works extensively with community banks, financial service providers and community development financial institutions.
Goode has been recognized professionally for his achievements, including being named to Best Lawyers in America® and as a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers. Grand Rapids Magazine named him a Top Lawyer in Securities Law and in Banking and Financial Services Law. He’s been named one of the Leading Lawyers in Michigan since 2014. He was recognized as Dealmaker of the Year by MiBiz in 2019 for his role in providing legal counsel to the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority for the $4.4 billion (estimated in U.S. dollars) Gordie Howe International Bridge project.
Goode is a member of the American Bar Association and State Bar of Michigan. He currently serves as an advisory board member for St. Ann’s Home.
Goode holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and a law degree cum laude from Wayne State University Law School.
