Downtown Space Demonstrates Commitment to Kalamazoo,&nbsp;Will Serve as Community Gathering Place

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP has opened its new Kalamazoo office in the new Warner Building, consolidating an office and its eDiscovery Center under a single roof – with room to grow. &nbsp; One of Michigan’s largest law firms, Warner will occupy the entire seventh floor of the Warner Building, located at 180 E. Water St. in downtown Kalamazoo. The 13,720-square-foot office space will welcome 22 attorneys and staff, including the firm’s eDiscovery Center. &nbsp; Warner will share space in the new mixed-use building with other leading Kalamazoo organizations, including Southwest Michigan First, Stryker Johnston Foundation, The Kalamazoo Promise and Communities in Schools of Kalamazoo. The seven-story building contains Class A office space, luxury apartments and an integrated parking structure. &nbsp; “We are delighted to welcome our clients and the community to visit our new offices in this incredible building,” said Josie Cekola Boucher, executive partner in charge of the Kalamazoo office. “This location is in the heart of downtown and demonstrates Warner’s commitment to our community. &nbsp; “We are also delighted to consolidate two offices into one that we have designed to meet the needs of our clients, attorneys and staff today – and for many years to come. We envision our new space will become a business hub within downtown Kalamazoo, a destination where clients and nonprofits can host meetings and a desired location for social gatherings.” &nbsp; Warner’s new location will feature:

The eDiscovery Center, a state-of-the-art electronic discovery facility, which utilizes 12 full-time and experienced eDiscovery project managers and staff attorneys. Warner fully integrates with clients’ trial teams and in-house counsel, following best practices in data review and production and utilizing technology assisted review and other forms of advanced data analytics.

Attorneys, staff and all tenants will have access to a gym and all-purpose fitness room in the Warner Building. &nbsp; “Since opening our first Kalamazoo office in 2013, we have grown tremendously in response to the needs of our clients in Southwest Michigan,” Boucher said. “This move enables us to continue our growth and better serve our clients. The functional design and leading-edge technology of our new space will enable our team to work more effectively and efficiently, enhancing the value we provide to clients. &nbsp; “We also appreciate the opportunity to share space with our clients and community partners. Valued client&nbsp;<a href="http://www.csmgroup.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">CSM Group</a>&nbsp;served as the construction manager for the Warner Building.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.towerpinkster.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">TowerPinkster</a>&nbsp;provided interior design services. Warner furnished its new space with office furniture from longtime client&nbsp;<a href="https://www.haworth.com/na/en.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Haworth</a>&nbsp;through&nbsp;<a href="https://www.interphaseinc.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Interphase Interiors</a>. &nbsp; This is the third new office Warner has opened in 2021. In April, Warner opened a new&nbsp;<a href="https://www.wnj.com/News-and-Events/News/Warner---LLP-Opens-New-Detroit-Office" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Detroit</a>&nbsp;office, which is home to 60 attorneys and staff, and an office in&nbsp;<a href="https://www.wnj.com/News-and-Events/News/Warner---LLP-Opens-Bloomfield-Hills-Of" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bloomfield Hills</a>. Warner is the only large Michigan law firm to have offices in Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties.
