Warner Offers Federal Contractor Vaccination Policy

In September, President Joe Biden issued Executive Order 14042 which mandated vaccinations for federal contractors and subcontractors. Following the executive order, the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force led by the White House COVID-19 Response Team, issued guidance outlining the requirements for compliance. Last week, the White House announced that the deadline for covered employers to comply has been extended from December 8, 2021, to January 4, 2022, mirroring the deadline for compliance with OSHA’s COVID Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard.
