Rachel J. Foster has joined Warner Norcross + Judd LLP as senior counsel.
Foster focuses her practice in real estate and construction law, corporate finance and the oil and gas industry. She has experience in assisting developers, landlords and tenants as well as commercial and residential property owners in the acquisition, sale and leasing of real property.
Foster is also experienced in representing owners, contractors and subcontractors in preparation of construction agreements and in construction lien and bonding matters. She will practice in the firm’s Kalamazoo office.
Prior to joining Warner, Foster practiced with Miller Johnson and Plunkett & Cooney, P.C. in Kalamazoo and Parrillo Weiss & O’Halloran in Chicago. She also worked as a prehearing attorney with the Michigan Court of Appeals in Grand Rapids.
Active professionally, Foster is a member of the American Bar Association and the Kalamazoo County Bar Association. She is a member of the Greater Kalamazoo Association of Realtors Risk Management Committee and the Portage Central Basketball Boosters.
Foster holds a bachelor of science from Western Michigan University and her juris doctorate from the Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology. She is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Michigan.
Foster is a native of Richland and currently resides in Portage with her husband, Todd, and son, Jonathan.
