Warner Norcross was one of the founding members of Inforum West Michigan in the fall of 2005 and Warner partners and attorneys continue to serve in leadership roles with Inforum. In addition, Warner Norcross has been a long-standing statewide Platinum Sponsor of the organization and supports many of its programs in West Michigan and around Michigan. Attorneys in each of the firm’s eight offices are involved in Inforum as members, graduates of leadership programs or attendees at regional events. Currently, more than 40 Warner Norcross attorneys and staff are members of Inforum.

Inforum is the leading professional organization focused on creating strategic connections and accelerating careers for women throughout Michigan and the Midwest. Launched in 1962 as the Detroit Women’s Economic Club with 23 founding members, Inforum now has more than 2,000 members representing various industries in five regional chapters across Lower Michigan.

Warner Norcross attorneys hold a variety of leadership positions with Inforum:

Melissa N. Collar currently serves as Vice Chair on the West Michigan Regional Council and was previously a member of the State Board of Directors;

Sue O. Conway serves as a director on Inforum’s statewide board and also serves on the corporate board access committee;

Christin Petroski serves as Vice Chair on the Great Lakes Bay Regional Council;

Rodney D. Martin serves on Inforum’s DiversityNEXT Steering Committee; and

Douglas E. Wagner has been a member of Inforum’s honorary committee since 2006.

In 2011, Inforum West Michigan honored Collar and Janet P. Knaus, another partner at Warner Norcross, with the group’s Inner Circle award. They were among 27 women to receive the award, which recognizes West Michigan’s top women executives, including high-powered professional women, entrepreneurs and small business owners, government officials, nonprofit leaders and others influential in the business community.
