The video is a painful nine-plus minutes of a firing conducted over Zoom by two HR personnel who were unfamiliar with the employee. As Steve points out, the company made several mistakes in the termination process. But instead of just pointing fingers, Steve uses this as an educational moment – providing three rules for properly firing employees.
