Vacation Rentals: Before You Invest, Know the Risks

Warner Partner Gaëtan Gerville-Réache wrote an article that was featured in the Midland Daily News titled “Vacation Rentals: Before You Invest, Know the Risks.” In the article, Gaëtan discusses the boom in vacation rental home services and the precautions buyers of rental homes must take to protect themselves against potential civil infractions, lawsuits and financial loss.

Gaëtan cautions that pre-purchase due diligence could save investors from trouble, but it’s difficult to know the right questions and people to ask. He offers insight into restrictions that may not be obvious to the majority of buyers and owners, and explains why realtors, neighbors and even zoning administrators may give the wrong answers.
