Three partners from the law firm Warner Norcross &amp; Judd LLP have been elected to the Management Committee.

Brian T. Lang, Mark J. Wassink and Stephen C.Waterbury will serve three-year terms on the committee, which oversees the firm’s strategic vision and day-to-day operations. Douglas A. Dozeman is chair of the 10-person committee for Warner Norcross, the largest law firm headquartered in West Michigan and the second largest in the state.

Brian Lang concentrates his practice on real estate and commercial litigation. He formed and chairs the firm’s Real Estate Litigation Practice Group and serves on the Design Committee, which is managing design and other aspects of the firm’s planned new office in downtown Grand Rapids. Lang has traveled extensively throughout the world and lived abroad in Asia, giving him key insight into his international practice, which emphasizes matters involving cross-border policies and issues. He also leads the International Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Lang practices in both Grand Rapids and Muskegon.

Mark Wassink focuses his practice on serving as corporate and finance counsel for both private and publicly held companies. A particular area of emphasis is serving as borrower’s counsel for financing transactions; he also regularly represents financial institutions in their commercial lending transactions. Based in Grand Rapids, Wassink has served in numerous leadership roles at the firm, including chair of the Professional Staff and Recruiting Committees, as well as a prior term on the Management Committee.

Steve Waterbury concentrates on general business and securities law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience in corporate planning, international business transactions, corporate governance and antitrust counseling. Waterbury serves as counsel to a number of publicly traded and multigenerational family businesses. Based in Grand Rapids, he has served several terms on the Management Committee.
