Charles E. Burpee, Susan Gell Meyers and Jonathan P. Kok will serve three-year terms on the committee, which oversees the firm’s strategic vision and day-to-day operations. Managing Partner Douglas A. Dozeman chairs the 10-person committee for Warner , the largest law firm headquartered in West Michigan and the second largest in the state. &nbsp; Burpee&nbsp;is a patent attorney specializing in all areas of intellectual property. He works in a broad range of industries, including automotive, lighting, control systems, electronics, and manufacturing, among others. A dual-degree engineer, Burpee is recognized by&nbsp;Best Lawyers in America&nbsp;for his patent, trademark and copyright work and as an IP Star by&nbsp;Managing Intellectual Property&nbsp;magazine. He has held numerous leadership positions professionally and within the community and currently serves as the board chair for the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre. &nbsp; As chair of the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group,&nbsp;Meyers&nbsp;focuses her estate planning practice on estate and tax planning for individuals, owners of family and other closely held businesses and other professionals. She was named Grand Rapids Lawyer of the Year by&nbsp;Best Lawyers in America&nbsp;for Closely Held Companies and Family Business Law. She has also been recognized as one of the Leading Women in the Law by&nbsp;Michigan Lawyers Weekly&nbsp;and as a&nbsp;Michigan Super Lawyer. Meyers serves on the board of Blandford Nature Center and is a member of the Family Business Alliance and Inforum – A Professional Women’s Alliance. &nbsp; Kok&nbsp;specializes in labor relations and employment compliance issues, focusing on a broad range of issues, from union negotiations to unfair competition to discrimination. The chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, he is recognized by&nbsp;Best Lawyers in America&nbsp;and&nbsp;Michigan Super Lawyers&nbsp;as a Rising Star. &nbsp;
