Rozanne M. Giunta, a partner in the Midland office of Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been elected to the Board of Regents of the American College of Bankruptcy.
Giunta will represent the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, which covers Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. She will serve one three-year term on the board, which is responsible for nominating and selecting qualified candidates to fellowship in the American College of Bankruptcy. In this role, she will chair the Circuit Admissions Council for the Sixth Circuit, which is responsible for reviewing and evaluating qualified candidates proposed by Fellows and/or the Circuit Admissions Council.

Giunta advises debtors, secured creditors, creditors’ committees and trustees in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 proceedings, loan workouts, defense of preference claims, collection suits, foreclosure actions and related matters. She represents corporations of all sizes, including automotive suppliers, automobile dealerships, farms and related businesses, hospitals and manufacturers, among others. Giunta also represents banks and secured lenders in negotiating and documenting secured transactions and in bankruptcy proceedings.
Throughout her four-plus decades of practice, Giunta has received numerous honors for her legal work. She was elected a Fellow to the American College of Bankruptcy in 2011, an honor that only 700 people worldwide have had conferred on them. She serves on the DEI Committee and the Freshman Fellows Committee for the American College of Bankruptcy.
Giunta received the Barbara J. Rom Award for Bankruptcy Excellent in 2021 and was named one of the Lawdragon 500 Leading U.S. Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers in 2022 and 2020. She has been named to Best Lawyers® and as a Michigan Super Lawyer, earning Lawyer of the Year for Troy from Best Lawyers in 2018, 2021 and 2022 for her bankruptcy work.
Active in nonprofits throughout her career, Giunta currently serves on the board of Hidden Harvest in Saginaw.
