Warner attorney Steve Palazzolo has created a podcast titled “Warner News from the Law Shanty” for employers to gain a better understanding of the legal landscape. In this podcast, Steve outlines MIOSHA Rule 5(8) and what it means for employers and employees, and how to successfully implement this rule in the workplace.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread across the state of Michigan and the nation, it is more important than ever to understand what laws and regulations are in place to keep employees and employers protected at the workplace. After the Michigan Supreme Court declared that Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s executive orders were void, the DHHS issued an emergency order titled Gathering Prohibition and Mask Order, and MIOSHA stepped in with Emergency Rules for employers to follow. We anticipate changes ahead as the COVID-19 outlook becomes more uncertain.
