MTEC SmartZone is hosting its inaugural cohort for the Advanced Material and Manufacturing Program which aims to support early-stage companies focusing on either advanced materials or advanced manufacturing sectors. Warner Norcross + Judd attorneys are participating in the AMMP program which began April 30th and runs 13 weeks through the summer.
Emily Rucker, a partner at Warner who focuses on construction and supply chain litigation and dispute resolution, will participate on the “Business Risk Mitigation” panel. Rucker and her co-presenters will discuss the process-driven and risk-mitigation side of venture development including insurance, legal issues and accounting.
Warner attorneys Cody Mott and John Muhs are holding office hours during the summer sessions to offer consultative services to participating companies. Collectively, the AMMP programs foster innovation and job creation and position the Keweenaw Peninsula as a leading region for startup innovations in the Upper Midwest.
Most of the AMMP events will be held at the Michigan Tech Lakeshore Center in Houghton. For more information and to register, please click here.
