Warner Norcross + Judd LLP has named Matthew K. Casey executive partner of its Macomb County office.

Casey practices business law with a focus on banking law involving commercial loan documentation, commercial loan workouts and bank-related litigation. He will lead the Macomb office, which opened in 2006 to serve the commercial and industrial businesses in Michigan's third most populated county. Macomb is one of eight Warner offices across the state. &nbsp; Casey is also a member of Warner's Aerospace and Defense and Government Services Industry Group and regularly interacts with the businesses, manufacturers and military installations that comprise Macomb County's defense corridor. According to Macomb County statistics, the defense corridor includes almost 700 businesses that collectively touch 70% of everything that a solider "shoots, drives, flies, wears, eats or uses for communications."&nbsp; &nbsp; Casey serves on the boards of Macomb County Chamber of Commerce and the St. John Providence Health System Foundation. He is a community director for the Macomb Community College Foundation board and serves on the Wayne State University Business School board of visitors. &nbsp; Casey has been named a Top Lawyer in banking law by&nbsp;DBusiness&nbsp;and has been recognized as a&nbsp;Michigan Super Lawyer&nbsp;since 2011. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Macomb County Bar Association, where he serves on the civil practice committee.&nbsp; &nbsp; A lifelong Macomb County resident, Casey resides in Washington Township with his wife, Christine, and has two adult sons.
