Mary Jo Larson, a partner at Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, was named to the Crain's Detroit Business "Notable Women in Law” list.
Crain's included Larson on the list honoring women who set legal precedents, relentlessly pursued justice, served on community boards and won big cases, all while mentoring the next wave of women in law.
Larson's nomination read, in part: "Mary Jo is passionate about helping clients quickly solve their benefits and compensation challenges, so they can get on with the business of running their business. At the same time, Mary Jo is an advocate for women and a mentor to numerous younger attorneys in the industry."
Larson has been elected as a Fellow in the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel. She has been named one of the Top 100 Michigan Lawyers and Top 50 Women Michigan Lawyers by Michigan Super Lawyers. Larson is ranked by Chambers USA as one of America’s Leading Lawyers in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation area and has been included in Best Lawyers in America since 2001.
