Michigan Aggregates Association is hosting the 2023 Winter Conference on Thursday, Nov. 30 – Friday, Dec. 1, 2023.
The event begins at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30 with a series of learning sessions designed to support the interests, growth and welfare of the Michigan aggregate industry. The evening’s welcome reception starts at 7:00 p.m. with dinner, dancing and a silent auction. For the fifth consecutive year, MAA has partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps to support its Toys-for-Tots donation program.
Attendees will hear from several speakers on:
- How the SECURE Act 2.0 will impact retirement plans and future business operations.
- How recent law changes with sales tax on delivery and purchasing of industrial processing equipment impacts the aggregate industry.
- Legislature update.
- The ever-evolving political landscape.
- The importance of limestone in the production of sugar.
