Kathryn A. Wood DeVillez has returned to the law firm of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP.
DeVillez brings more than 12 years of experience in employee benefits and employment law, with a concentration in benefits plan design and administration with an emphasis on compliance matters related to flexible spending accounts, health reimbursement accounts, health savings accounts and other welfare plan matters. She will practice in the firm’s Grand Rapids office.
After starting her law career at Warner in 2005, DeVillez returns to the firm after working in benefits administration for several companies, including Spectrum Health and Steelcase. Most recently, she served as a director at bswift, a Chicago-based benefits administration company where she focused on flexible spending accounts and other reimbursement accounts.
DeVillez holds a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Michigan and her doctor of juris prudence from the University of Michigan Law School. She holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources, or SPHR, designation.
She resides in Rockford with her husband, Bob, and their children, Evelyn, Eleanor and Emery.
