International Trademark Association’s 2023 Annual Meeting Live+ will connect the most influential brand professionals from across the globe and industries at the largest gathering of its kind. Warner Norcross + Judd LLP Partner Brian D. Wassom has been invited to moderate a session titled “Right of Publicity: Issues with Clearance and Enforcement in the U.S.” for trademark professionals to discuss the difficulties that businesses and their attorneys have in clearing the rights to use an individual’s likeness in commerce. The wide-ranging conversation will also cover the challenges of enforcing publicity rights in court and how these issues vary from state to state.
