Virtual Event Livestreamed and On-Demand

The Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Family Law Section of the Michigan Bar Association are cohosting a seminar titled "Pre- and Postnuptial Agreements” to be livestreamed on Thursday, Oct. 19.

With as many as 50 percent of marriages ending in divorce, it’s important to effectively prepare and safeguard clients. This half-day event gathers leading practitioners to discuss proactively drafting sound, enforceable agreements and how to modify those agreements when necessary. Speakers will also offer thoughts on how to skillfully litigate marital agreement disputes should they arise.

Warner Partner <a href="https://www.wnj.com/people/beth-l-olaughlin/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Beth O'Laughlin</a> will lead a session titled “Prenuptial Agreements from an Estate Planning Perspective” offering her thoughts on a range of issues, including:
