Great Lakes Bay Manufacturers Association: Navigating the Tariff Terrain

Webinar
Thursday, April 17, 2025
3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET

In today’s globalized economy, tariffs and trade regulations are ever changing, impacting manufacturers. The Great Lakes Bay Manufacturing Association has invited Warner Norcross + Judd LLP partners for a webinar discussion to explore the complexities of navigating the current tariff landscape, provide insights into effective strategies for managing risks, leverage opportunities and ensure compliance.

The discussion will be moderated by Laura You and include Aida Dismondy and Homayune Ghaussi who will collectively share their knowledge on how organizations can adapt to shifting tariff regimes, understand policy developments and optimize supply chain efficiency during these uncertain times.

You is a business litigation attorney and member of the firm’s Automotive Industry Group, Supply Chain Industry Group and Business Breakup and Ownership Disputes Group. You concentrates her practice on supply chain and other complex commercial disputes in the automotive, aerospace and industrial manufacturing industries.

Dismondy focuses her legal practice on international trade and business, defense trade and business including U.S. national security, economic and foreign policy. She counsels and represents clients on the full range of administrative, compliance and enforcement actions arising out of export controls and sanctions, customs, defense federal acquisition regulations, Buy American Act, Trade Agreements Act and related U.S. laws and regulations.

Ghaussi, who chairs Warner’s Supply Chain Industry Group, focuses his practice dually, and somewhat uniquely, on both supply chain litigation and commercial contract negotiation, representing clients in complex litigation and commercial disputes, including through jury trials and arbitration hearings. He also regularly serves as transactional and contracts counsel for automotive, manufacturing and raw material suppliers throughout the U.S. and Europe.
