In-person Event
Amway Grand Plaza

The Grand Rapids IT Symposium is a premier one-day event designed with the IT executive in mind. The symposium serves as a conduit for IT professionals to build a stronger professional peer network and attain real-world knowledge on business changing technology and management solutions.

Warner Norcross + Judd partners Nate Steed and Brian Wassom are among the event speakers who will discuss trends and offer best practices designed to help attendees overcome present and future IT challenges.

Steed, who co-chairs Warner’s Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice Group, will present “Incident Response — How, When and What to Disclose.” In this session, Steed will discuss considerations that go into determining notification requirements following a security incident. He’ll discuss obligations  — legal and moral — to affected individuals, messaging internally among your employees and externally with law enforcement, regulators and the press.

Wassom, who chairs the firm’s Emerging Media and Technology Group, will present “The Sobering Reality of What AI Actually Is — Legal Considerations with AI.” Wassom’s discussion will help guests understand the true nature of AI and the benefits and risks associated with its increased adoption.

Held at Amway Grand Plaza on June 26, the event begins at 8:00 a.m. with registration and breakfast and concludes with an afternoon networking reception in the Ambassador’s Ballroom.
