In March 2023, Michigan expanded the Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act to include protections for gender identity and expression. This event will examine how this historic amendment affects business owners, employees, clients and companywide policies and practices.

Warner attorney <a href="https://www.wnj.com/people/steve-palazzolo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Steven Palazzolo</a> has extensive and varied experience counseling clients on all aspects of the employment relationship and will be among the event’s speakers. Palazzolo regularly assists his clients with day-to-day labor and employment matters, and his expertise extends to the labor and law aspects of mergers and acquisitions, employee benefits and employment civil rights litigation. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
