The Federal Bar Association Eastern District of Michigan’s IP Committee presented “It Came from Online,” a complimentary lunch and learn program on how to respond to ransomware, infringement, defamation and other hot-button issues encountered on the internet.
Patrick Corbett from the Association of the U.S. Army shared his knowledge and experience taking down the seemingly untouchable ransomware crooks. He shared step-by-step instructions for guiding clients through these panic-inducing online attacks.
Warner Norcross + Judd Partner Brian Wassom reviewed other online headaches that businesses often confront, including copyright and trademark infringement, publicity rights issues, defamation and privacy concerns. Wassom offered tools and strategies for tackling these issues when and if they arrive.
