Emily Cantor Joins First Steps Kent Commission

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP Partner Emily Cantor has joined First Steps Kent Commission, which serves as First Steps Kent’s board of directors. The Commission’s contributions directly impact the way First Steps Kent administers and promotes the growth and learning of young children and their families in Kent County. Cantor will serve a three-year term on the Commission.

First Steps Kent is an independent nonprofit organization committed to ensuring every young child in Kent County will enter kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed in school and life. It brings resources and support to the community and the early childhood system, including the Ready by Five Early Childhood Millage.

Cantor assists both publicly traded and privately held companies with a broad range of legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, contract development and review, corporate governance and liquor license and cannabis transactions and compliance. Cantor serves companies across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail and distribution. She is recognized by Best Lawyers in America© for Business Organizations including LLCs and Partnerships and as a Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Star.
