DisruptHR Denver celebrates “the rebellious future of HR” by offering a true information exchange of great ideas and a platform for learning, sharing and connecting among innovative HR professionals.
Warner attorney Sarah Bileti will lead the discussion “Leveraging Unexplored Talent – Why Undocumented Immigrants Could be the Solution to Your Labor Needs” focusing on the Denver Asylum Seekers Program. Bileti provided advice and counsel during the program’s formation, specifically on a program component called WorkReady.
WorkReady is the result of the city of Denver’s desire to proactively aid the influx of Venezuelan migrants with community integration services and employment opportunities as soon as they receive federal employment authorization. WorkReady provides foundational training and instruction for the newcomers including ESL, financial and digital literacy, resume writing and other services to support employment seekers.
Bileti is an experienced immigration attorney, specializing in domestic and international employment-based immigration matters that span employee work authorization, corporate restructuring challenges and Form I-9 compliance.
