Augmented World Expo USA 2024 is the world’s largest spatial computing event, taking place from June 18-20 at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center, bringing together 300+ exhibitors, hundreds of product leaders and a global network of 6500 peers.
Warner Partner Brian Wassom will be presenting “Identifying and Overcoming Regulatory and Legal Roadblocks” on June 20 with Prof. Tony Liao from the University of Houston.
The presentation description reads as follows:
How will ever-evolving regulatory and legal frameworks create roadblocks to the successful rollout of your XR project — and how can you overcome them? XR Professor Tony Liao draws from his experience teaching and mentoring students on the nuances of XR communication, the exploration of XR in neuroscience and its effects on brain activity, the concept of presence within XR, and the broader implications of XR on human experience and behavior. Attorney and longtime XR thought leader Brian Wassom will report from the legal trenches on what legal risks lie just over the horizon, and how to best insulate yourselves from liability.
