The Institute for Continued Legal Education will host its 29th Annual Health Law Institute March 14 – 15 at Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth. The event is designed to help health care industry professionals keep pace with critical changes in health law across a range of topics including Artificial Intelligence, antitrust changes, HIPPA law, contracting, labor and employment and more.
Madelaine Lane and Andrea Bernard, partners at Warner Norcross + Judd, will co-present an “Ethics Update for Health Care Lawyers” to help industry professionals:
- Manage a variety of ethical dilemmas faced by health care lawyers.
- Avoid the perils and pitfalls of attorney-client privilege and waivers.
- Safeguard your reputation and dodge the discipline system.
- Handle difficult clients and ethically engage experts.
At Warner, Lane is co-chair of the firm’s White Collar and Investigations Practice Group, its Data Analytics and eDiscovery Practice Group and co-directs the firm’s eDiscovery Center. She has led some of the state’s largest criminal and civil discovery matters by leveraging the latest technology and tools to locate and parse through responsive documents efficiently.
Bernard concentrates her practice on litigation for manufacturers, contractors, financial institutions and others involved in employment, construction and commercial disputes. She primarily represents Michigan-based companies and organizations, vigorously advocating for them in cases across the country.
The two-day event begins Thursday, March 14 at 9:00 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast at Saint John’s Resort. Seminar attendees can earn CLE credits for their participation.
