John spearheaded efforts to resolve complex labor and employment matters, including representing the State at arbitration hearings and union contract negotiations. He also managed critical workplace issues such as crafting well-reasoned responses to union grievances and leading thorough internal investigations into employee misconduct, guiding cases from initial inquiry through to disciplinary action.

This hands-on experience provides John with a deep understanding of the challenges organizations encounter in fostering efficient, compliant and harmonious workplaces, while also recognizing the emotional complexities often involved. John earned his Juris Doctor, <em>summa cum laude</em>, from Michigan State University College of Law, where he was consistently recognized for his academic and advocacy achievements. He was a member of the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute and participated in Moot Court, where he was awarded the Eve August Memorial Moot Court Scholarship. He attended Ferris State University for undergrad and holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration, summa cum laude, and also earned a certificate in human resources management.
