My corporate and real estate practice strengths dovetail nicely, as they so often overlap. For example, when working on a large real estate development transaction, such transaction often requires setting up one or more business entities to hold and own the real estate or to operate a business on the real estate. As a transactional lawyer, I particularly enjoy the constructive aspect of my role – putting deals together for visionary clients, watching them start with nothing and build their businesses into successful ventures.

David MacDonald represents clients on business formations, business mergers and acquisitions, the purchase and sale of real estate, leasing of commercial, industrial and retail property, condominium and subdivision developments and loan documentation. He is also increasingly becoming more involved in private equity and third-party investor transactions.
