In a world that is constantly in flux, I work collaboratively with and help clients navigate complex regulations so they can safeguard their interest, their business and personal reputation. When working on transactions that are sensitive and protected for economic, national security and foreign policy reasons one must be keenly aware of all the facets impacting a transaction. It is here where I bring added value. As advisor and counsellor besides the legal, business and industry experience I also draw from a wealth of knowledge, experience and insights gained from a life spent in two continents and two different regimes (a dictatorship in Albania and a democracy in U.S.) and from an insatiable curiosity about people, cultures and learning in order to help clients in procurement and international trade matters.

Aida Dismondy’s practice encompasses procurement and international trade law with a focus on government and defense contracts, including data rights, export controls and sanctions, and international trade and business compliance. Centered on government contracts and international trade, her experience includes internal investigations, advising clients on voluntary disclosures, international business and trade and related due diligence, pre-litigation support and   compliance related to: Federal Acquisition Regulations; Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement; Business Code of Conduct and Ethics; the Buy American Act; Buy America, Build America Act; Trade Agreements Act; the Berry Amendment and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
