Warner partnered with Western Michigan University to prepare for the pending changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act’s salary threshold that were announced by the Department of Labor in 2016.
This partnership included not only behind-the-scenes compliance recommendations, but also helping the university communicate effectively with its workforce both through written correspondence and in town hall meetings, especially as the DOL guidance evolved and the rules were ultimately enjoined in federal court.
