Warner Norcross Elects Three Members to Management Committee

The law firm of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP has elected three partners to serve on its Management Committee.

Charlie Goode, James J. Rabaut and W. Michael Van Haren will each serve three-year terms on the law firm’s 10-member Management Committee.  The committee, which is chaired by Managing Partner Douglas E. Wagner, is responsible for the strategic vision and the day-to-day operations of Warner Norcross, the largest law firm in West Michigan and one of the largest in the state.

Charlie Goode focuses his practice in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities regulation and general corporate and regulatory matters, with an emphasis on financial institutions.  He also serves as vice chair of the firm’s Business and Corporate Services Practice Group.  Goode is recognized as a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers.

Jim Rabaut practices in all areas of real estate law, including commercial construction projects, lease negotiations, economic incentives, commercial real estate sales and acquisitions and business condominiums.  This is his second term on the Management Committee.  He is recognized by Michigan Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America.

Mike Van Haren concentrates his practice on all aspects of planning for high net-worth individuals, the family offices that serve those individuals and the businesses they own, with an emphasis on gift, estate and sophisticated tax planning, succession planning and charitable and foundation giving.  He is recognized by Michigan Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America, which named him as the Lawyer of the Year for Grand Rapids in 2011.   This is also his second term in the Management Committee.
