Dennis J. Donohue Named to Best Lawyers in America

Dennis J. Donohue, a partner with the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been named to The Best Lawyers in America® 2011.

Donohue, who is new to the list this year, was recognized for his work in three practice areas: environmental, mining and water. He is one of 67 attorneys from Warner Norcross who were selected for the peer-review award, which denotes legal excellence in specific practice areas.

Warner Norcross has more attorneys included in Best Lawyers than any law firm in Grand Rapids, Holland or Muskegon. Additionally, the law firm is ranked tops in Michigan in seven practice areas, including mining, water, employee benefits, environmental law and others.

A native of East Lansing, Donohue concentrates his practice in environmental law, with an emphasis in water, hazardous waste management, mining and regulatory matters. He chairs the Environmental Law Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association.

Donohue holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Michigan and a doctor of jurisprudence from Wayne State University magna cum laude. He now resides in East Grand Rapids.
