Real Estate Services

The Real Estate Services Group is an interdisciplinary team of attorneys that features experience in condominiums, financing and capital, economic incentives, leasing, foreclosures and workouts, tax law, zoning and any other matters that arise during complex real estate transactions.

We strive to furnish efficient and innovative services to help our clients knowledgeably assess the potential and risks associated with each project, working diligently in each case to minimize or fully avoid risks and liabilities. We provide pre-transaction counseling to structure projects in a manner most advantageous to our clients.

For clients where challenges arise and legal counsel is needed, we approach dispute resolution as an opportunity to address issues and keep projects on track. Our goal is to add value to our clients' businesses.

Several of our partners were instrumental in drafting key pieces of Michigan legislation, including the Uniform Condemnation Act, the state condominium act and the construction lien act. Warner also pioneered extension of the condominium form of ownership to nontraditional types of property, including hospitals, marinas, parking structures and condominiums within condominiums.

Our attorneys serve in various important leadership positions within the local community and the legal community. We know that part of a client’s solution might depend on our reputation, so we work hard to earn the respect of our peers and the people with whom we work every day.

We are recognized as an authority on real estate by legislators, business leaders and our peers, making Warner the go-to firm for all types of real estate transactions and issues.
