  • The best attorneys can work just about anywhere. Many choose to work at Warner Norcross & Judd because of their desire to balance their personal and professional lives and because this is, above all, a great place to work.

Our firm is distinctive because we consciously adopted a lockstep compensation system and policies that encourage excellence and teamwork and discourages internal competition for clients and billable hours. Guided by these policies, we have earned a national reputation for client service quality while maintaining close relationships among our members.

We seek lawyers who have a cooperative spirit, measure their success by their own growth and development, and take pride in the success of the firm and all of its members.

We do the majority of our new associate hiring from our summer clerkship program, but occasionally do additional 3L hiring. The ideal time to submit a résumé for a new associate position is in August, when we determine what our hiring needs will be for the next year.

We're proud to be a founding member of the Managing Partners Diversity Collaborative and GRab LAW. This is an initiative of the Grand Rapids Bar Association to attract the best and most diverse talent to West Michigan and is part of our firm-wide commitment. Learn more at grablaw.org and the Diversity section of this web site.
