Scott Watson concentrates his practice in environmental law and the energy industry, as well as economic development incentives.
Scott is familiar with the unique aspects of the energy industry and renewable resources and the available development incentives and grants corresponding to this industry. His environmental practice is geared toward natural resources issues and redevelopment of contaminated properties.

Representative Experience
- Assisted a biomass gasification manufacturer in designating a Renewable Energy Renaissance Zone
- Helping clients with sale of renewable energy credits and advanced cleaner energy credits
- Working with natural resources clients on tribal, cultural, and historic preservation issues
- Helping with the donation of historic preservation easements to secure a federal charitable contribution deduction
- Assisting in the underground injection control permitting under the federal Safe Drinking Water Act
