The Employee Benefits Group at Warner Norcross & Judd LLP ranks at the top of Michigan's best practitioners in this practice area, according to information recently released by Chambers USA 2009.
The Chambers guide, which ranks practice groups and firms on a state-by-state basis, puts Warner in its "Band 1"category for employee benefits and executive compensation. Only two other Michigan firms received similar recognition.
Chambers noted Warner's acquisition of three EB attorneys from another Michigan firm and stated, "You have to consider Warner to be exceptionally strong now."
The organization specifically mentions Warner attorneys Mary Jo Larson, group chair Anthony Kolenic, John McKendry, Lisa Zimmer and George Whitfield as having particular expertise in their areas of practice.
