Technology

Warner Norcross has been named as one of the country's most "tech-savvy" law firms by a survey conducted by BTI of 200 general counsel at Global 2000 companies. We are committed to being on the cutting edge of technology in the legal industry. Our investment provides us with a key advantage in serving our clients in the most cost-effective, responsive way possible.

Our technology capabilities include:

  • Extranets provide unsurpassed client service through the use of secured, tailored, private sites designed to share confidential information with clients. A wealth of information can be made available to clients on a 24-7 basis including key documents, research and/or company information, status reports, standard forms, message boards regarding particular matters and other relevant communications.
  • Video technology eliminates geographic challenges and facilitates efficiencies in meeting with clients as well as intra-office attorney meetings. Each of our offices uses multiple video conference units for ease of communication with our clients, deposition of witnesses within and outside of the area, and interoffice communications. We are also happy to make our video technology accessible for use by our clients.
  • Portable technology is key in our ability to be accessible and responsive. Our attorneys have laptop computers, access to firm systems through VPN software, and PDA technology including BlackBerrys and other state-of-the-art units. As a result, we can effectively serve our clients from virtually any location.
  • CD-ROM "binders" supplement traditional transaction closing binders and litigation matter document retention and include documents that are accessible and readily searchable.
  • Personal incoming and outgoing fax capabilities are on each attorney computer; they maintain the highest level of client confidentiality, ensure rapid delivery and make your communications available to our attorneys anywhere they have their laptops or PDAs.
  • Many of our clients receive electronic invoices via standard LEDES format or unique, nonstandard formats that make the most efficient use of their time and meets their accounting requirements.

The future of electronic communication is here, and Warner Norcross & Judd is at the forefront of new developments in this exciting area.
